FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK
It has been a challenging period to our country, which include the economy and political crisis, as well as the haze. These situations have demanded us to act maturely and think creatively. This challenge can be an opportunity to develop ourselves and people around us, if we look into it positively. Obviously, it requires a shift in our paradigm and the way we think.
The Exco would like to assure members that raising the professional standard and evidence based practice are among the focus of MASH. With this note in mind and considering the current economy status, we regret to restate that we have to postpone our plan to organize the LSVT Workshop this year. Nevertheless, we are pleased to inform that we are collaborating with the Department of Medical Rehabilitation Services, UKMMC to bring an introduction session about LSVT on 13 October 2015 (Tuesday). This session is FREE! The flyer is ready for circulation very soon so please keep your eye on this and register to secure a seat.
The year of 2015 marks the journey of MASH to continue its mission to uphold the professional standard and development of both Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology in our country. As a gesture to express our gratitude to your continuous support towards, the Exco are keen to organize a dinner for all members on 12 December 2015. We are setting a team to realize this and we pledge your help; energy and time, to make this happen.
Please let us know if you can contribute by replying to this message or write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
