Ride The Train – May 2017

FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK

Alhamdulillah, thank you to Him for the blessing today. We have successfully organized the "Ride the Train" Program, in collaboration with Yayasan WIBA Prima and Cara; supported by Prasarana, Arisma, NASAM and many more organizations as well as anonymous individuals. I would like to express my gratitude to Pamela, Cecilia Santiago and Iffah Rashida for being the backbone of this project as well as to all volunteering members for your generous contributions today. Hats off to all of you for your amazing energy!

This project has brought many insight to MASH on aspects that we need to strengthen and embark on. Strategize, network and work in partnership are among the keys to create sustainable differences.

Creating differences and giving ourselves more such as in the "Ride the Train" program would need us to take care of ourselves too. Therefore, I would like to invite you again to our AGM, 20/5/17, 2-5 pm at Prince Court Medical Centre. We shall be learning about ways to look after ourselves so that we can be effective in reaching ourselves to others. You can join the AGM in presence or virtually, via skype.

On the other hand, I was privileged to be able to engage with the ENT Specialists and Pediatricians in 3 different conferences/workshops last week. The experience have highlighted many aspects pertaining to our service delivery. While providing evidence based practice is definitely a must, having data on service efficacy and collaborative work are also equally important.

Let's put our dreams and hands, collectively, to create many more differences through our unique and fun, MASH platform; because together we can achieve so much!
